Esso Coffee Shop at Jisepo.

It took a long time but now also Jisepo has a place to drink coffee. There are two more places, but one serves no fresh made coffee and the other one at the museum, was most of the time closed when I tried to have a coffee, so I gave up on that one.
The only thing at Esso Coffee is that the menu is al Korean, but they speak a little English. And very special, it went with a cookie.
You can find this pleace nearby the boats to Oedo, along the road.

Cappuccino

DALDAL, coffee shop at Okpo

Today it was time to try another place. Last time my eye catched DALDAL, so I checked it. My favorite drink at a coffee place is cappuccino. The price was ok, KRW 3800, so was the taste.
The shop was heated, that's comfortabel instead of drinking a coffee with one's coat on.
They provide you with a card, the fith time they serve free cookies, the 10th an americano and the 15th time a drink you can choose.

You can find it at "restaurant road" next to the Mexican restaurant and at the opposite side from  Paris Baguette.

Candle House at Sodong (Jisepo); Spa, Coffee, Steak and more

Building along road 14 opposite Daemyeong Resort, before Beverly Hills Waterfront. Take the side road after Big Burger to right at the warning lights. Not allowed to go right at the traffic lights in front of the resort.

The price quality is good, and the quantity also, you don’t need to order side dishes. After the meal you can take free coffee. (2^nd Floor) Price - quality ratio is good.

Mario del Monaco and Starbucks opposite Cheomseongdae

On a rainy day in Gyeongju, last visit I experienced the same, is it nice to try some coffee shops. This one has a view on Cheomseongdae, the oldest astrological observatory in the Far East.
The coffee and the tea are good, but expensive, KRW 5000 each. It has a unique atmosphere, so I guess that's why.

Past the test.

A little further along the road was a recent opened Starbucks. We had to try some desserts, yummy.
Afterwards we drove a block to see what to visit for the next day.

Spoons; All Day Brunch

Walking at Chuseok through Okpo to see if there is a place to drink coffee and get something to eat.
It was after a few steps that it was clear that Spoons hasn't closed the doors. It said "all day brunch", so we gave it a try.

Café Promenade, Okpo

At the same street as Big Bear opposite, there is a nice little coffee shop with some options for lunch. The bread is really fresh and taste well.
Outside there is a little terrace.

 Directions: from "restaurant street" coming from "Starbucks street, road 58", go to the left at the corner with Paris Baguette. Next road right. Better to park at "restaurant street" and walk. Coming from road 14 at the tunnel and Aju-dong, go directly to the right at Beverly Hills two, and turn right at Paris Baguette. Next road again to the right. Or take an earlier road along the DSME yard  and you will see it at the left hand side of the road.

 

O'Village for a coffee, tea or something else.

Nice looking coffee shop along the Okpodaecheop-ro. It has a little terrace and a small menu with some things to eat. But quite a selection to drink. It's a quiet place.

Take the road from Deokpo along the coast to the north, but not on the road 58, you can see it before you.
After the sign with O'Village, you have to turn right.

P;ium at Andong

Along the riverside at the opposite side from the Andong Folk Museum, you can find a special place by it's look. You can take your car, or leave at the parking lot from the museum. Cross the long wooden bridge and go to the main road. At your right hand side you can find this place.

Andong is a four hour drive away from Geoje.

Coffee shop at Wall Painting Village Tongyeong

If you climb the stairs from behind the wet market in Tongyeong, you can find easy the nice coffee place with a terace.

The other way is to take a road next to the Napoli Hotel and walk your way up. On the road there are nice opportunities to take a photo.

This is the restaurant where the first Thursday of the month, Seamax hold a coffee morning.
But you can also go there for a lunch, meal or coffee.

Directions;
1. Coming from the tunnel at road 14 into Okpo, turn after Beverly Hills II, to the right. You can park here and walk a bit.
a. Or you turn to the right just before restaurant El Gitano, and at the end of the little street to the left. Big Bear is at the left side.



b. Or you take the road opposite Paris Baguette to the right, and turn right again. At this crossing.

To the right coming from road 14 and left coming from 58, opposite Paris Baguette

The road from road 14 towards road 58 (Starbucks road), is also called "restaurant road".
2. Coming from road 58, you turn left after the S-Oil and before GS market, drive uphill and go left at the crossing with Paris Baguette. Or turn left after El Gitano.
3. Coming from road 58, turn right after GS market at your right side, before the S-Oil. See above for the rest.
