Dish, restaurant

A new restaurant in Okpo. They claim to cook Italian, but according to mine opinion it's a little fusion, but not Korean.
The steak and the Pasta Bolognese were tasty. Think that's value for money. But try by yourself.

Carbonara

Directions: situated along road 58 at the right-hand-side coming from road 14, or at so called "Starbucks street".

Namaste; Indian restaurant, Janpyeong/Gohyeon

If you like to eat Indian food combined with a nice ambiance, try Namaste at Janpyeong. You can find the restaurant at the second floor from a building looking out over the water.

The food is nice and the lunch menu has a very reasonable price. We tried some curry's, differents type of bread and different appetizer's. Not in one go but at different occasions.

Mango & strawberry lassi

Directions; from the D-Cube mall, head to the water and turn left in the direction of the Samsung Hotel. Not so far walking you will find this restaurant at the left side.

Gray B; delicatesse and restaurant, Okpo

Gray B at Okpo, along road 14, next to the crossing leading to the building of the GFRA. Opposite the "English Tailor".

Business Hours: 11.00 a.m. till 8 or 9.00 p.m.

They sell all kind of "expat"-products like sour cream, real butter, cheeses, nice bread and more.
You can also have lunch or dinner.

Big Bear Okpo, Italian Restaurant

Upstairs is the place for the Thursday coffee, tel. 055-687-6870

This is the restaurant where the first Thursday of the month, Seamax hold a coffee morning.
But you can also go there for a lunch, meal or coffee.

To the right, or to the left afterwards

Directions;
1. Coming from the tunnel at road 14 into Okpo, turn after Beverly Hills II, to the right. You can park here and walk a bit.
a. Or you turn to the right just before restaurant El Gitano, and at the end of the little street to the left. Big Bear is at the left side.



b. Or you take the road opposite Paris Baguette to the right, and turn right again. At this crossing.

To the right coming from road 14 and left coming from 58, opposite Paris Baguette

The road from road 14 towards road 58 (Starbucks road), is also called "restaurant road".
2. Coming from road 58, you turn left after the S-Oil and before GS market, drive uphill and go left at the crossing with Paris Baguette. Or turn left after El Gitano.
3. Coming from road 58, turn right after GS market at your right side, before the S-Oil. See above for the rest.

Crab restaurant in Goheyon

If you order the "crab-menu", you will get quite a few dishes for a starter and the crab is served as the main dish. One crab is enough for 4 persons.

At the second floor you can sit "normal".

Directions: coming from Okpo/Suwol, entering Goheyon, you have the harbour at your right-hand-side, and after the trafic lights of the crossing with the main shopping street, you can find this building at your left-hand-side.
Driving further, you reach D-cube (Home Plus).

Trattoria da Fabio; an Italian restaurant in Gohyeon

Trattoria da Fabio;  tel. 055-634-5959 (English spoken)

Lunch: 11.00 am - 2.00 pm
Diner:  05.00 pm - 10.00 pm.

This year "Fabio" moved to a bigger place and easier to find. The staff has improved a lot, and the food is still excellent.

This pizza is new on the menu; the vegetable pizza. Very delicious. 
There are some tables close to the big windows, nice to look at the street and the ship yard.
